Hiking in the Highlands
I went on a trip to the Highlands on the weekend with 30 other international students. The first day, we went on a 6 hour hike in Glen Coe. It was incredible, (Erika & Brad would have loved it)!The mist was hanging low all day and it was so peaceful. I want to come back with Mike to do some camping!
The Wee Curry Shop

Yum! This is 'The Wee Curry Shop' on Ashton Lane in Glasgow. I had the best butter chicken I have ever had at this wee place just the other night.
Ashton Lane is one of the best known spots in Glasgow. There are tons of nice pubs, a really cool cinema with leather love seats and strings of lights all along the lane.

Stacey's Face

Here is a link to the film that we are working with this term at school. We all had to read parts from the script and take the 'spirit' of the film to form a collection of 3 garments for the fashion show which is on March 13,14 & 15.

Queen Street Station in Glasgow

Queen Street Station... on my way to Edinburgh on Saturday afternoon. I love train stations, the way they smell, the way the sound echoes in them and all the crazy people to watch!
I went to see Diesel Boy at a club called Liquid Rooms. Mike would have loved it, it wasn't the same dancing without him, (but I still had fun)!!!

I am in Scotland!!
I am finally sitting in front of a computer, have plugged my camera in for the first time and am trying to figure out how to post some photos!! I don't have many great ones yet, but I do have some that would be worth sharing with everyone. I'm starting to settle into school life in another country and am really excited about my project which I will tell you more about once I have figured out how to blog properly!! I just wanted to finally use my blog site that Brad set up for me - Thanks Brutha!!
